Dear Arizona Men’s Volleyball Families,
We are so excited for you and your son to be a part of the Arizona Men’s Volleyball family. We wanted to provide some additional information about our club and ask for your help with a couple of items as highlighted below.
DUES
Dues are $700 per player per semester. Dues for the spring semester will be collected in January. Payment plans are available.
DONATIONS (Tax Deductible) - YOUR HELP IS NEEDED
We are 100% funded by dues and donations, because of this we greatly appreciate any help you can provide with fundraising to help pay for our coaches, practice facilities, uniforms, tournament fees, travel, etc. Through the UA Foundation, we qualify as a non-profit 501c-3 organization and donations are tax deductible

Any and all donations are GREATLY appreciated!! If you make a contribution on this site, you will receive an email confirmation after the donation is made. Shortly thereafter, you will receive an official receipt in the mail from the University of Arizona Foundation confirming the amount of the donation and the tax ID information.
SCHEDULE AND TRAVEL
Our competitive season takes place in the Spring semester from January - April. We will also have some scrimmage matches and pre-season tournaments in the fall. We are a member of the SCCVL (Southern California Club Volleyball League) and will be participating in league tournaments that will take place in San Diego, Irvine, and Phoenix for league play. We will also participate in a non-league tournament in Las Vegas, other school hosted tournaments, and the National tournament in Kansas City. We have not been provided with exact details for every tournament yet, so we will provide locations as we receive them.

We will drive to all tournaments except for nationals. Anyone who drives will be reimbursed by the club for gas. We will be flying to the National tournament in Kansas City, and plane tickets will be reimbursed.
TRAVEL ACCOMMODATIONS - YOUR HELP IS NEEDED
For our tournaments (other than nationals), we try to stay with families that live nearby the facilities or families that are attending the tournament and are willing to host team members. We also have had families fund hotel rooms/Air bnb’s or use points for rooms. Any and all of these options help tremendously with our budget and we sincerely appreciate the generosity.
If you live near (within 45 minutes) any of our tournament locations or are planning to attend a tournament and are willing to host your son and other team members, please reply to this email indicating your team members’ name, the tournament location and dates and how many team members you would be willing to host. If you have any connections to airbnb’s or hotels in our tournament locations, please provide that information or your contact information so we can arrange for discounted rates/rooms.
The club is able to provide housing for players at tournaments, however with our limited budget, any help goes a long way! We thank you in advance for your help!
The National tournament in Kansas City is a “stay to play” tournament and the team will be required to stay in one of the tournament sponsored hotels. More information on this will be provided in January when the tournament registration is opened.
For those families that are unable to travel to our games, we try to livestream most of our games on our Facebook page at Arizona Men’s Volleyball. You can also follow us on Instagram @Arizonamvb for updates.
